I have recently found in my collection a pretty necklace which I am unsure of the origin of. It is apparently 22ct gold of Middle Eastern origin. The chain is very pretty 28'' long with a fake emerald in it. I have been offered just over £400 scrap value for it, which is very acceptable, but it seems a shame to scrap an attractive piece of jewellery if somebody might be interested in it .
