About the Business
I graduated from the Kent institute of Art and Design in 2004 with a B.A (hons) in silversmithing, goldsmithing and jewellery design. During this time I taught myself stone setting techniques as well as winning 2 awards with the goldsmiths craft and design council.
Since graduating I have attended 'getting started', an introduction to business through the goldsmiths company and have been involved with Business Link Kent who, with the help of the Princes Trust and DHP, have helped me to become a self employed jewellery designer/maker. Commissioning a piece of jewellery is percieved as being extremely expensive, when in reality you can design a bespoke piece of jewellery made to particularly high standards, often for less than the mass produced high street jewellery. You could set a budget and ask me what i can do for that, i have made one-off silver earrings for as little as £10. Please browse my portfolio for examples of my work.
