About the Business
In 1938 Marston Barrett established a jewellers in Lewes. His ambition was to provide antique, secondhand, modern jewellery and silverware of the highest quality. This ambition is still there today, after 70 years of business. Our shop itself, with its green and gold fascia, is a landmark of Lewes High Street and is to be found opposite the entrance to the 11th century castle. When you enter the shop the interior has an 'Old World' charm, and is like stepping back in time. However, don't think we are an out of date business.
Far from it, Marston Barrett has kept up with the times and fashion changes over the years, offering a vast range of stock with something for everybody. We are the only jewellers and silversmiths in Lewes that offer such a unique shopping experience. Throughout our history, Marston Barrett has always prided itself on a welcoming atmosphere with personal, friendly and knowledgeable service. We have earned an enviable reputation for quality throughout Sussex and beyond.
