About the Business
John Cadby Jewellers was first established in 1985 from very humble beginings as a market trader, working the markets of Trowbridge, Chepstow, Frome, Tetbury & Devizes to name a few. In 1992 we moved to the Shires Centre and dedicated our time in creating our in house jewellery repair workshop, high-tech computer engraving machines and a watch repair facility. In 2011 we moved to our new location in White Hart Yard, to provide you with the best service possible. With our dedication to providing the best service and John's love for gemstones, John in 1995 studied The Gemmological Association and Gem Testing Laboratory of Great Britain 's Diploma in Gemmology (FGA) and passed this qualificaion in 1995, with further studying gained the Gem Diamond Diploma (DGA) with distinction in 1997. Now our Jewellery workshop is very busy processing some 200 jobs per week, from chain & bracelet repairs, ring sizing, re-modeling and manufacturing, engraving watch repairs and pearl restringing.
