We are a website that showcases the most luxurious and advanced aircraft within General aviation. We aim to let you know what is new in the aviation industry and showcase the newest aircraft on the market. We'll concentrate on general aviation but we might show off a few airliners now and then as well!
There is a new revolution within the world of microlights. Gone are the days where a microlight was considered a lawnmower engine strapped to a kite. Most new ultralight aircraft entering the market are now faster and more advanced than their group A counterparts. With exceptionally low fuel burn also (some as low at 10 litres per hour) they are far more affordable to fly also. We recently tried out one of these ultralight aircraft during our recent visit to redhill aerodrome. Here I was treated to a flying lessons london - an hour's flight in their state-of-the-art CT2k aircraft. It classifies as a microlight yet burns only 12 litres per hour and cruises at a ridiculous speed of 120kts.
