About the Business
We are a small family run business based in Weymouth looking for a return to that personal service of old. Daniel works in the shop creating new pieces and repairing cherished ones whilst giving the customers a breakdown of the work that is needed and the costs involved personally. Daniel Moran has been a goldsmith for over 25 years and was trained by some of the country's finest goldsmiths in Hatton Garden and London's Bond Street where he has worked on pieces for celebrities and the world's royalty. He also has a HND in Jewellery design from the prestigious School of Jewellery in Birmingham's jewellery quarter. After moving to Weymouth over 10 years ago and starting a family he has been working for the local trade as well as top London jewellery companies. Daniel and Sally decided to open Good as Gold and offer our goldsmithing services to the public.
