About the Business
John Coppin began his career as a design engineer, and moved into Jewellery when a close friend was looking for an apprentice. Together they crafted jewellery for many London stores until Ann and John felt it was time to move into the country with the family, and set up a workshop in Bradford on Avon. From here they carried out repairs and commissions, a business which grew quickly enabling the vision of an artizan showroom with workshop to become reality.
Coppins opened in Corsham in October of 1982, with a modest stock and staff it has grown to become one of Wiltshire leading jewellers, with a reputation for first class customer service, many customers still return from the initial days in Bradford. The team of craftsmen now headed by Daisy Coppin, a qualified diamond and gemstone expert, continues to produce beautifully crafted jewellery, still under Johns watchful eye.
