About the Business
We are a married couple, who were both apprentices at Cartier, where we gained our passion for jewellery. Between us, we have over 50 years experience creating beautiful, bespoke jewellery for a discerning clientele.
I followed in my fathers and grandfathers footsteps, becoming the third generation of jewellers to work at Cartier. Shan followed her childhood dream of becoming a jeweller, and went on to represent Great Britain in the skills Olympics.
We married and began a family, and Shan took some time out to bring up our daughter, though she continued privately making jewellery for a select clientele. I continued to develop my career, eventually being head-hunted by Graff Diamonds where I was trained in micro-setting.
Throughout our careers we have gained experience creating many prestigious pieces, with clients including royalty, nobility, and other notable people.
The concept of Bumblebee Jewellery is to make fantastic pieces for local people at a reasonable price. We were both trained in traditional and modern techniques and have won numerous competitions at the Goldsmiths' Craft Council. We both received the freedom of the City of London and are members of the Goldsmiths' Company.
We're based just outside Wendover, in the beautiful Chiltern countryside, we repair, remodel, remake and fashion original items to your personal design ideas.
All our work is to the highest standard and no job is too big or too small.

We offer a complete range of services for all your jewellery needs: Repairs, Remodelling, Setting, micro-setting, Re-stringing, Hand engraving, Yearly servicing of jewellery, Hallmarking, Hand engraving.
Bespoke jewellery:
Our bespoke service starts with your design drawn by hand or computer. If you require stones, these are sourced through our dealers, all stones will be ethically sourced. Your item will be made and you can see it progress and be involved with the creative process.
Our pricing is extremely competitive compared to the high street as we have low overheads.

Aylesbury, BuckinghamshireWhen this company started out I took my daughter’s bracelet to them for shortening along with a few chains which needed repairs. They were really friendly and helpful and their knowledge of jewellery was immense. I was impressed with the speed the work was done and the price was very very competitive. I would recommend them for anything jewellery related.
