About the Business
The Canterbury shop was purchased in 1987 where it had been a jewellers for many years as F.W. Day's, which local residents will remember well. Karl who is now a director of the company started work at F W Days in 1974 straight from school. Karl was also taught the old values of the retail trade which is still very present today - customer service.
Andy has been in the jewellery trade since 1989 and came to work for Anthony in 1997 when during 2003 he left for new pastures. Andy was later working on six star cruise ships selling jewellery and has now returned to Anthony W Pearce Jewellers as a jewellery designer.
Christine and Fiona although more recent to the jewellery trade have spent all of their time in the retail trade working for a family run department store again where customer service was paramount.
